Gameplay is smooth and the DVD quality is very high. The game still has support from the manufacturer. There is an avid on-line community which loves to play this game, even though it debuted several years ago. I think it has to do with a combination of the Star Wars mythology and how much fun this game is to play. I originally bought this PC game a few years ago in the CD-ROM version. I now have the DVD version on my laptop. My son and I go online together and play this game. Sometimes we are on the same side, sometimes not, but we've had a lot of laughs playing this game. He gets a kick out of "whacking" the old man! Some people may consider this violent but we treat it like a virtual paintball game (there is no animated bloodshed). Highly recommended! You can play on Hoth, Jabba's Palace, Geonosis, anywhere in the Star Wars triology (except Coursant and the Death Star). A variety of vehicles-You can be anything from an ATAT to an X-wing. You can even pilot enemy ships, and in ships with more than one crew member, you can easily change your position in the ship (such as in the Republic gunships, you can be a pilot, co-pilot, gunner, etc) It's just a fun game. I mean, come on, who doesn't want to run around blasting their way through the galaxy? Cons: Repetitive. No matter what war you're playing in (clone wars or glactic civil war), the object is always the same: take out all the enemy's reinforcements.
