The graphic work is of the highest order and this successor to "Snark Busters" is worthy of Alawar (the producers). As in all casual games of this type you have to be an expert handyman, repairing fuses, replacing gears, tightening up a leaky fire hydrant and much more. Sparkles will tell you a new cache for hidden objects is there and you will collect tools and icons, door handles and a myriad of other stuff which you have to use somewhere on something. Twisted is a very polished performance, the environments are expertly done from fog-enshrouded trees, to waves lapping at the shore, to spooky caverns and rooms piled with junk to an amazing submarine waiting for you to rev up and escape the Twisted Land- if you can. One gets a lot of playing time and fun for the buck and the game is hugely entertaining. Twisted Lands: Shadow Town has a tight and engaging storyline (the player is on a deserted island and must find his lost companion) and one never feels like doing something pointless. It offers a lot of very varied mini games and puzzles that range from easy to difficult. The latter holds true for two puzzles in particular, one of which took me a while to solve. For the other one, I took advantage of the very handy skip function. But most have just the right level of difficulty and are fun to solve (Just to clarify: I am a casual gamer and usually do not enjoy puzzles that take too, too long to get done but I am definitely willing to try for a while.) This is not one of those linear, repetitive and slightly boring $6.99 game downloads that crowd this section on Amazon. The game...
